LA Wildfire Relief Fund

By providing relief grants to small businesses, we can demonstrate our unwavering commitment to community, ensuring that no one is left behind on the path to recovery. Small businesses are the heartbeat of Los Angeles - join us in supporting them to foster hope and resilience.

Together, we can

Offer immediate relief in the form of $5,000 grants to entrepreneurs whose livelihoods have been impacted. Eligible applicants will receive the grant within two days of selection to help our community rebuild and recover.

Why small businesses?

  • No access to PTO to cover immediate needs

  • Uninsured or underinsured

  • Largely left out of federal assistance

What $5,000 can accomplish:

  • Revenue replacement

  • Relocation cost

  • Basic needs for them and their families

  • Repair damages and/or loss of inventory

Who needs our support:

  • Micro-businesses

  • Self-employed workers

  • Service industry entrepreneurs such as gardeners, housekeepers, nannies, food businesses & many more.

Apply Now:

    • Fill out a simple, one-page application to confirm eligibility.

    • Eligible applicants will be entered into a lottery for fair selection.

    • Funds will be distributed within two days of award notification.

    • Small business owner or self-employed as your main source of income.

    • You are/were unable to work due to evacuation, damage, or being in a wildfire impact area.

    • Annual revenue under $250,000.

    • ID (Driver’s License or other government issued photo ID)

    • Pre-impact business bank account statement 
      (If you do not have one, we will accept personal bank account statement, Cash App, or Venmo.)

    In addition, provide 1 of the following:

    • Business registration with California Secretary of State or County Clerk Office 

    • Business utility Bill (water, gas, electric)

    • Letter or Contract confirming loss of work from Clients

    • Receipt, Invoice, or Proof of work in affected area (within last 60 days)

    • Documentation of physical damages

    • Most recent bank statement or merchant service statement

  • 1/27: First Round Selection

    2/3: Second Round Selection

    2/10: Third Round Selection

    2/17: Fourth Round Selection

  • Our goal is to provide assistance to as many people as possible in an equitable way. We are using a lottery process to ensure fairness in the selection of grant recipients.

  • We are giving applicants ample time to apply. Many of those impacted will need additional time as they are dealing with immediate emergencies.
